Declawing Services for Kittens/Cats
Declawing can be humanely accomplished at the same time as a neuter or spay. We surgically remove the claw and the bone associated with it, thereby guaranteeing that the claw will not grow back. While this method may be somewhat more time consuming than others, it ensures that there are no small fragments of bone left behind that could cause problems. The following morning the bandages are removed and the paws are inspected by Dr. Janssen for any potential problems. If there are no problems, your kitten is usually ready to go home by 10:00 am.
We will perform a declaw for only $106.67 if performed in conjunction with a spay or neuter. If done alone, a declaw procedure on a cat six months of age or less costs $227.36.
